Not sure which one you have?
On the iPhone itself: Settings › General › About shows the model name outright. If it won’t power on, dial *#06# on any working handset it is signed into, or just send us a photo — we identify handsets every day and it takes us a moment.
Most Common iPhone Repairs
The repairs we carry out most often, across every generation from the 6 to the 16.
Screen Replacement
Cracked or dead displays replaced with high-grade parts that restore touch, brightness and colour. On models with Face ID we transfer the original components so it keeps working.
1–2 hours*Battery Replacement
Rapid drain, shutdowns at 30%, or a battery health warning. Replaced with full-capacity cells.
30–60 minutes*Charging Port Repair
Lightning or USB-C: loose, slow or dead. We clean, repair or replace the port itself.
1–2 hours*Water Damage Repair
Ultrasonic cleaning and component-level work to bring back a liquid-damaged handset.
24–48 hours**Camera & Lens Repair
Cracked lens covers, blurry photos and dead autofocus — glass or the whole module.
Under 1 hour*Back Panel Replacement
Shattered back glass replaced. It is laminated to the frame, so it is a laser-and-patience job rather than a quick swap — mention your colour when booking.
Typically 1–2 hours*Times shown assume parts are prepared for your visit. We don’t hold stock — most parts are available from our suppliers for next-day delivery. Contact us first to confirm availability.
Depending on the extent of liquid damage, whether corroded components need replacing, or board-level repairs are required, recovery may take longer.
The Difference on an iPhone Repair
Every generation from the 6 to the 16 comes through here, and the awkward ones are the reason people travel to us.
iPhone Repair Specialist in London
Twelve years of iPhones through the same workshop — every generation from the 6 to the 16, and the ones people have given up on.
Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers and microphones are the everyday work. Apple has made each generation harder to open than the last: back glass laminated to the frame, Face ID tied to its original components, boards packed tighter every year. Those are the details that separate a repair that lasts from one that comes back.
The jobs most shops send away are the ones we take: liquid damage that has already corroded a board, handsets that won’t power on, charging circuits that have failed rather than a port that simply wore out. That needs thermal cameras, ultrasonic cleaners, hot air rework and microscopes — and someone who has used them for a decade.
Four things you’ll hear from us first
- What is actually wrong — not whichever repair is quickest to sell you.
- What each part option costs, and how they really differ once the phone is back in your hand.
- What a replacement changes. On some models a screen swap affects True Tone or Face ID behaviour. You hear that before we start, not after.
- Whether it is worth repairing at all. On an older handset the parts can cost more than the phone is worth, and you should hear that before you spend the money.
How a Repair Runs
Find your model above, tell us the fault, and bring it in or post it. We confirm the fault matches what was booked before we start, and only call you if something unexpected turns up. The full step-by-step is here.
Same-Day Means Booked Ahead
Screen replacements, battery swaps and charging port repairs take 1–2 hours — but only when the right part is already here. We don’t hold stock, because guessing demand across 38 models is a good way to hold the wrong parts. Same-day repair means booking in advance: we take a deposit, order your exact part, and it is waiting when you arrive.
Post Your iPhone From Anywhere in the UK
You don’t have to be in London to use us. Send it by tracked post from anywhere in the UK and we’ll repair it and send it straight back — most postal repairs are dispatched the same or next working day once the part is in. Tell us the model and the fault before you send it, so the part is waiting rather than being ordered after your phone arrives. See exactly how mail-in repair works.
We Repair Any iPhone Model
The list above covers every iPhone from the 6 onwards, plus both SE generations. If yours is older, or it isn’t listed, we still want to hear about it — ask for a quote and we’ll tell you what is possible and whether it is worth doing.

iPhone Repair FAQs
Everything worth knowing before booking an iPhone repair.
Where is your London workshop?
Our workshop is in Wimbledon: 136 Kingston Road, London SW19 1LY — accessible from Wimbledon Station and the Merton Park tram stop. Check our contact page for current opening hours and directions.
If you’re not in London, you don’t need to travel. Post your iPhone in from anywhere in the UK and we’ll send it back repaired.
Can you repair my iPhone the same day?
Yes, we can complete most iPhone repairs the same day, provided we prepare replacement parts for your visit. We no longer keep parts in stock due to the large variety of phone models on the market, making it impossible to predict demand accurately. To ensure same-day service, please book an appointment in advance so we can order the correct parts for your specific iPhone model and have them ready when you arrive.
Do iPhone screen repairs affect Face ID or True Tone?
Apple pairs certain components — including the display and Face ID module — to the device at the factory level. A screen replacement may trigger a notification in Settings that the display is not an Apple genuine part. However, Face ID will continue to work as long as the Face ID sensor array itself is not damaged. True Tone may be lost with aftermarket screens, but can often be restored using specialist calibration tools. We will always explain what to expect before starting your repair.
Do I need to book an appointment or can I walk in?
Both options are available. You can walk into either location during opening hours for immediate service subject to availability, or book an appointment to guarantee your time slot and ensure we have the right parts ready. Booking ahead is recommended for specific iPhone models or if you need your phone back urgently.
What does your warranty cover?
We provide 6 to 12 months warranty depending on the specific repair and the manufacturer’s warranty on parts we install. If the repaired component fails due to our workmanship or the replacement part, we’ll fix it again free of charge. Please ask about the specific warranty period when booking your iPhone repair. The warranty doesn’t cover new physical damage, water damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair.
Do you repair iPhones other shops have turned away?
Often, yes — it’s a large part of what we do. Most shops replace parts; when the fault is on the board itself there is nothing to swap, and the handset gets handed back as unrepairable.
We work at component level: microsoldering, hot air rework, ultrasonic cleaning, thermal cameras and microscopes. That covers corroded boards after liquid damage, iPhones that won’t power on, and charging circuits that have failed rather than a port that wore out.
Do you use genuine Apple parts?
We offer both original Apple screens and high-quality aftermarket alternatives. Original screens maintain the exact factory look and feel, including True Tone calibration, while aftermarket options are often significantly cheaper. Both work perfectly with touch, Face ID, and all sensors. We are completely transparent about what we install and will help you choose based on your budget and priorities. We always explain the trade-offs before starting any repair.
What are your opening hours?
Opening hours vary by location. Most Fixfactor workshops are open Monday to Friday from 9am, with some locations offering Saturday hours. For up-to-date times for each location, please check our contact page. We recommend calling ahead if you are coming near closing time to ensure we can complete your iPhone repair.
Are my data safe during the iPhone repair?
We intentionally never delete customer data during repairs. Our technicians only test basic phone functionality (calls, charging, display) to verify the repair worked. However, we cannot take responsibility if data is lost during the repair process, although this is very rare. We strongly recommend backing up your data before any repair if possible. We maintain strict privacy protocols, and your personal information remains secure throughout the process.
Can you fix water damaged iPhones?
Yes, we specialize in liquid damage cleaning using professional sonic cleaners and advanced diagnostic equipment. If you act quickly, damage can often be reversible. After thorough cleaning, we inspect the device under microscopes and thermal cameras to assess component condition. We perform component-level repairs if necessary, and if parts like the screen need replacement, we’ll provide you with a quote. While we cannot guarantee success, we have the specialized equipment and expertise to maximize recovery chances. Bring your iPhone to us immediately if it’s been exposed to liquid – don’t try to charge it or turn it on.
Is iPhone back glass replacement more difficult on newer models?
Yes. On older iPhones (iPhone 8 through iPhone 13), the back glass can be removed and replaced as a separate component, although the process still requires specialist equipment. On iPhone 14 and newer models, Apple has redesigned the rear enclosure — the back glass is now permanently bonded to the aluminium or titanium frame. This means replacement is significantly more difficult, more expensive, and more time-consuming. In some cases, it requires replacing the entire rear housing assembly rather than just the glass. We always assess your specific model and explain the process, cost, and turnaround time before starting any back glass repair.
Does screen removal for non-screen repairs risk damaging my iPhone's display?
On newer iPhone models, many internal repairs — such as battery replacement, charging port repair, or motherboard diagnostics — require removing the screen to access the internals. This process breaks the factory waterproof seal and carries a risk of damaging the original display, particularly on models with OLED screens and tightly integrated flex cables. We always reapply adhesive to reseal the device, but the original IP rating cannot be guaranteed after any repair that involves opening the phone. We always inform you about these risks before starting the service, so you can make an informed decision. If the screen is already damaged, this is of course not a concern.
